“It’s not often that I write to any company to complement the work they’ve done. Most people only find the time to write when something goes wrong and they want to complain. However, after my recent experience with your company, I felt compelled to write to you to tell you what you did right and offer my thanks and appreciation for the fine work you did.

My water heater broke Wednesday evening and flooded my bedroom. I called at least 7 companies and most weren’t even available to answer the phone. I had to speak to an answering machine. But, when I called you I was able to speak with a live person who was able to answer all my questions and schedule the work immeadiately.

You were also the only company that fully understood that my problem was a huge inconvenience for me and you were willing to work me in to your already busy schedule to take care of it the same day, at no extra cost!

If all that wasn’t enough, you helped me work with the manufacturer to find out that the unit was still fully covered under warranty and there would be no cost to me for a replacement unit, only for labor. You didn’t try to gouge me on the labor costs or sell me anything I didn’t need, and I found your rates to be more than fair.

With the economy in such bad shape, it’s even more important to me that a company show integrity when conducting business during these tough times. I found Gibson to be a company of integrity and a model for other companies to follow.
